I just bought one yesterday and he is not eating yet. My tank is 120G.Now i putting him in a basket in the tank so he is protected.i think he is still adjusting to my tank. Any ideas on how to make him eat?

Garlic is a great appetite stimulator. Try to vary his diet as best as you can at the moment too. Good luck!

No worries :) I just use the garlic juices in the jar. When I defrost my frozen food I just add a few drops. Some people add crushed garlic pieces too, but some studies show that feeding the actual garlic can cause damage.

Would love to get a Flame but still worried about my coral, and worried about the fact I can't treat them with copper in my QT.

I had one in my 125 and I have another in my 55 gallon I have now.
both were very well behaved and did not nip at any corals.

I bought a captive bred Flame angel last week and added him to my 75 gallon reef. Within 30 minutes of him being in there he started nipping my yellow star polyps and open brain coral! He now resides in my fish only tank! :becky:
