Literally the hvac barely ever shuts off pretty much from mid June to august. Gotta love single pane aluminum windows. House gets up to about 82 during the hottest part of the day. But as long as the ac doesn’t quit it’s fine.

Fish are fine, although the combination of higher heat, excess humidity and smoke from forest fires has made time outside less enjoyable. All things considered, there are regions in North America (and the world) that are far worse, so I'm not complaining.

Typical mid-90's here in NC. My tank is chillin' with 1\4hp JBJ. I've run a chiller since the early 90's back in the metal halide days. Oh, I have two chillers in the garage as backups.
Gotta love that summer piedmont heat. 90’s and humid.

My tank is in my bedroom with a little window AC that keeps a stable 72-73 degrees.

1. Both my 2 tanks been around 79 last week with indoor temp at 80 outdoors over 100. Can't afford the Southern California Edison electricity.
2. I have switched light cycles, to take run day lights after nine when peak price are over. Also keeps tank cooler
TOU pricing is a steaming pile imo. I'm also SCE, it wasnt worth it for me to switch from fixed rate pricing and glad I didnt.

My electric bill will double officially this month, but the tanks are maintaining overall.

Big tank: (EDIT: I do have two 90mm fans roaring currently in the canopy)

Ambient temp when I'm not home is @ 76 degrees, no chillers.

Here in Florida, lost some fish because the store put the wrong address on the package and they were sitting outside my neighbor's house for an hour or two... still waiting to see if I'll get my money back... AC has been struggling to keep up but the house hasn't gotten above 78 yet
