Well I read that when carbon dosing vodka/vinegar you should have a bit of a wetter skimate. As such, curretly I am skimming about 600ml/ a pint of skimmate a day. This is playing with my SG abit so I Put in 25ish grams of salt a day to compensate.. I was wonder if anyone dosed there ATO with a bit of salt to compensate for the salt loss or if anyone had a different method

Adding salt to an ATO is a great way to combat the salinity decline from an overworking skimmer.

I have similar problem but not caused my dosing . Just the water removed from the skimmer . The ato always lowers the salinity but it’s minimal .
In a month it might drop from 1.026 to 1.024
That’s adding close to 3 gals of ato per day
