I have algae that won't die even in a 72 hour black out... I was told 2ml per gallon of peroxide is that correct

I would think that dosing 2ml per gallon would do very bad things to your tank. There is a lot of mis-information in this thread. Listen to what Randy said. The only time that I would dose H2O2 in my tank would be to fight Dino's....and that is 1 mL per ten gallons for 10 days.

Zoas and Toadstools definitely do not like the fizzing...it is quite the opposite.

Start with telling us what kind of algae you have....where it it? Rocks? Sandbed? Glass?

I'm not sure on the type of algae the one that won't die is on the rocks short and looks hairy.
