My problem is this: I am going out of the country for a week starting April 12th. That is 33 days from the start of the quarantine. I'll be using copper power. I understand that they need to be kept at a therapeutic level of 1.75 for 30 days.
Question is should I still do a 5 to 6 day ramp up and let my trusted fish watcher test for copper levels and then do a water change and add carbon or Cuprasorb after the 30 days? {I'll be out of country by then}. Or do a shorter ramp up so I can keep a watch on copper levels and do the water change/copper removal right before I leave.
I trust my fish watcher but of course I'd rather be the one doing everything.
I want what is safest for the fish!
Slow ramp up of copper vs me being present for the full 30 days.
Fish are 2 clowns, 2 PJs, 2 Fairy Wrasse, Yellow eye Kole Tang, a Bellus angel, a goby and a lawnmower blenny.
Thanks!
