Is my Sea hare dead?

I got this Sea hare two days ago to help with hair algae. Still lots in the tank. It’s tucked itself in a corner and has this long black looking poop coming out of it

It doesn't look dead. It may be working on a patch of algae there. When I had one it was just continuous food in poop out

I figured this post was not a joke as sometimes death = fluid discharge
