Seeing this thread, I am now going to buy me a Jack O'Lantern

I'm with you on that. The price kept me away but i have spent more on a chalice frag. It seems like the perfect leptoseris. Contrasting strips with eyes that seem to glow in the dark.

It was sold to me as a Leptoseris foliosa I will go take some more pics of it now and post some more
And I think that's correct. The corallite structure looks spot on to me, and very lepto-like.

I'm sorry to say this but that's not a Leptoseris guys!!! Please only LEPTO  thanks
You are aware there are many different species in the Leptoseris genus, right? Not all of them are encrusting...
Take a look; TarHeel's coral looks right: Leptoseris foliosa. Corals of the World - Photos, maps and information about corals and reefs

Here is more of my Helios Garden Lep....
DSC_0234.jpg DSC_0236.jpg

This I know for a fact is a Leptoseris and the other green one I was told at time of purchase that it was L. Foliosa. I wasn't trying to post outside the requested parameters of your thread. Here is a link to confirm my Orange Helios Garden Leptoseris (Orange Leptoseris coral is a perfect storm of color, texture and pattern) and in fact this color variation is less often seen in the hobby than your pretty common but highly prized Jack O' Lantern color morph. I was just simply trying to put up some variance in the pictures so people know there is more out there!

Here is mine. I have it in low light under AI's and ATI purple plus. I wish the eyes would glow like in the other pics.

Is it a Jack-o-Lantern? It doesn't look like it. All the ones you've seen here with the glowing orange polyps are Jason Fox Jack-o-Lantern; it's not some lighting trick anyone is using. :)

15 different species in Veron's literature. ;)
