I agree though it doesn't look like a female flame.
It looks like a juvenile male flame.
+2The fish in question is a male C. rubripinnis, not a female flame, nor a Paracheilinus species.
As have I, as well as filamentosus listed as a flasher... :cringe:I've seen that fish listed as a red flasher so many times.

Coloration a bit, but mostly by patterns (Potter's are also this way). Yours is a female.
