I siphoned out a thin top layer of my sand to remove a couple small patches of dinos (whole other story) and saw these. Looks almost like grass growing out of the sand. Sorry for blurry pic quality. Anyone know what this is?

Do they retract when touched? Do they catch food particles? Looks like some sort of algae but need clearer pics and a better description to really identify.
they don’t really seem to retract, not sure if they’re catching particles, they sway a little in the current (not firm/hard like vermatid snails or tube worms), and they seem to have a slight green tint up close

Hard to tell. Can you get a closeup of one?
It looks like how my calceours algae spreads. Starts off small and pops up somewhere else and grows to this.
May not be though.
Bottom left.
