Well, the two plugs are the same, it's basically just a splitter. There is no separate controller it's all contained in the single sensor. But it did come partially assembled, with one side, the sensor, being already plugged in . And the pump was connected by myself. I did add the siphon break, but that's not the issue, it's not turning on at all. The sensor part has a blue indicator light that is on when the pump should be filling. Which in my case, is on but not filling. When I lower I sensor like it "filled" the light goes off indicating it stopped the pump.

Air trapped where? What are we lubing?!
*tube, sorry, fat fingers.

what 907 said. if the tube for the pump is on, it may have trapped air in the pump. take that off and turn the pump around under water to get the air out of it. might work after that. if not, I'm out of guesses.

are there two sensors? like a high and a low? try reversing their locations? That got me when I was setting up my autoAqua.
Nope, all in one sensor. It's definitely right side up.

It's just with all my terrible history with ATOs, hard to believe it's an actual failed part rather than me being super stupid. It's not off my list of possibilities....

I also 3d printed a feeder porthole thingy and it works great.
This is very similar to the ones I printed for the quail. Much cleaner than them eating from anything I could purchase.

Lack of patience trumps need for power in this house.
It really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. But I did have some self taught experience with 3d programs from years ago with video game mods, so that actually came in handy.
