So a couple weeks ago I posted on here about accidentally splitting my mushroom coral in its center. Well it healed itself quite well, but instead of separating like normal, it grew back together. Only now it has 2 feet, one on one rock, and the other, on a different rock. Is this normal?

Could we see pictures?
Okay so you can see the one foot on the right side, then a space. You can’t see the other but it is under the shroom on the left on the upper rock

I will see if I can get one this morning when the lights come on
What happened was I was moving the rock I thought it was completely on more to front of my tank, but when I picked up the upper rock I found out it was attached to both rocks, and it split open right down the middle, had a good size hole right in middle of mouth, so general consensus on here was that it would split and become 2. Made good sense to me. And it did start looking as though that would be the case. But then it started growing back together towards the center. It did leave a small offshoot which you can also see to the left in this picture.

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
