So the tank has gone through some changes in the last 2 months!

I tried my hardest to get zeovit to work on this tank. It just was not going well for me. I lost several pieces and color and growth was not good at all. I feel like the tank was very sensitive and really did try my hardest. I have seen some beautiful zeovit tanks, but i just couldn't nail it down. I decided to go with what I know best and stick to keeping it simple.

I went back to t5 dominant lighting with led to supplement. I also removed everything from zeovit and started a fuge again. I felt like the pls100 was no longer keeping up now that the system was more nutrient rich. I went with a jns sk2 and so far I love it. Super quite and pulling out some nice dark gunk!

For lighting I went with a 8x39w dimmable Sunpower. I removed the 2 middle tubes and added 4 custom arrays of leds. For bulbs I'm running the following.
3x Ati blue+
1 Ati purple plus
1 Ati coral+
1 Ati true actinic

I may try another coral+ instead of the purple+ in the future. Other then that I really like it. The leds let me find tune spectrum and add some shimmer!! It's basically a home made Led Powermodule on the cheap.

With all the changed the tank has reacted great and growth has exploded. Even my zoa's were not growing
Color has come back on many pieces and seems to get better daily. Here's a couple pics...I plan to shoot some more pics at the end of this month.

Light when it arrived :)

Couple FTS. I haven't dialed in the spectrum yet, but I like a bluer tank. I think I'm going to go with another coral+ and it will be good.

Can't say enough about the Jns skimmer. The skimmer went into the sump Thursday night. Friday night I had to empty the cup because I had the skimmer set a little wet for break in. I adjusted it to skim a little drier and this is what was in the cup this morning.

Also worth noting. I had to remove my filter sock to fit the skimmer. I was planning on putting it back by making a new sock mount, but now I'm not so sure. My polyp extension has been bananas and I'm wondering if it's because no filter sock. Water is still really clear so I'm not worried about it.

Basically this thing is skimming like a beast after only 3 days. No break in, it just went straight to work!

Some new pic ups for coralcon this weekend. Going to take pics of the rest of the stuff Tom. Everything is perking up and looking good

Cool blue bottle brush, next to ASD rainbow milli and a healing fuzzy Acro that's coming back from the death.

Another cool piece. Really close to red planet. In the same family, but stays with a creamy base and bright pink tips.

And this is one for the true stick heads. Sometimes the simple stuff is the prettiest.
