You'll have to either live with it nipping at certain corals or rehome the angel.I have a bi colored angelfish and it’s been nipping my Kenya tree is there anything I can do?
Some prefer certain corals. Dwarf angels are especially risky with LPS corals. If you decide to keep the fish, you'll be limited on corals you can keep.Is it only the Kenya tree that it eats? I have a green star polyp and a zoa that it leaves alone
I do want to try to keep it I only recently starting putting nori in 2 days ago but they don’t seem to be nipping at it yet. Should I move it maybe? Alsoy Kenya tree as we all know it makes several frags of its self at least once every 2 weeks which I tie down to a small rock I now have 5 frags of it. Do you think the angelfish might be able to control its growth and spread? Or will it just end up eating the whole thing? Before you rehome it, try feeding it more or have nori more available for it.

Mine kind of started right when it was introduced to the tank. It never ate it where u could tell it’s being eaten other than the fact that the Kenya shrivels after he nips at it. I’m guessing it nips at the little finger hairs when it opens and not where u can tell it has chuncks missing.Bi Colours are not known as Reef safe, and are to be treated with caution in a Mixed Reef tank.
While this Rule is never always true, its a risk some take that pays off with a well behaved Bi colour, others bust out.
Others can be fine, and then one day just decide to have a nip.
I had a Anemone Crab go rogue, was a perfect resident for months.. then one night decided to go nuts and ate a good 15% of my frags. He lives in my Sump now. I also have a starfish which only just suddenly started eating Zoas.
Foxface eating corals ?I had to remove my pygmy angelfish for the same reason.
Also had to remove a foxface for the same reason.
I feed heavy at 8+ cubes a day.Foxface eating corals ?
Never seen it before …
But if fed well they are said to leave corals alone .
