Okay, I have not been able to get around to my water changes in the last 4 weeks. To my surprise, all of my soft corals and BTA are now doing better. Do soft corals and BTAs just like dirtier water?

That’s very acceptable numbers. They should be loving life. I have to do water changes once a month to keep my nutrients up. I struggle to maintain .05 phos and 5 nitrates

Yep they like some nutrients . If your corals and anemones are looking good . I’ve had a lot higher readings than you have and everything looked really good every reef is different. Good luck

What are you using for new salt water? How large of a change?

Dirtier is not necessarily the best description of tank water relative to new salt water. There are many other possible differences, and not all are always beneficial.
