Hey Everyone,

I'm putting together some material on Acanthastrea care, and would love to get some feedback from everyone on your experiences, to corellate with my own experiences with this genus.

In particular, for those of you who are having success- I was curious what water temperature, and what type of lighting you are employing.

Would appreciate your feedback and any observations you have made along the way...Thanks!

Regards,

Scott

I can only contribute a bit, my tank is kept at 78-79 and my salinity is 35 ppt. I use coralview razor LED's but I have to put them in the shadows of the rock...they seem to do well there but if they are put in full LED they bleach out and die within a few days. Hope this helps!

Kessil 350, sandbed level of the tank. If partially shaded, they get better colors. Temp is around 78F, and they seem to grow faster with meaty food such as mysis. :)
