This Red Sea has been a big project after my Red Sea Reefer 525xl failed and luckily a local hobbyist had a Max S650 with no stand. I kept all the livestock alive in a rubbermaid tub for a week while I built a new stand a system for the livestock. Now its become my favorite South Pacific themed reef with everything you would see if you scuba dived in Tahiti.

The system is setup with Automatic Water changes and the Red Sea Reef mat which life super easy.

congrats on the new system - that's bold of you to go with another (used) red sea tank after the first failure :grinning-squinting-face:

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
