Definitely due for an update! I need to do a small water change to suck up some diatoms, those started to repopulate after the Dinos, and I am 100% settings up the QT this week!
worth it even if just for observation!
I found the fish are way more social once their in the DT if they know who brings them the food.

I was only planning on doing just observational QT, as I haven’t had much luck with doing copper.

I just did my water change, finished off the last bit of cyano that was one the rocks, treated myself to a present of two zoas yesterday, a red one and a light pink one, pics tomorrow! And Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas, bud.

Ok, so the zoas are still settling in, (only one of them, the other one is fine) but pics once they adapt!

For some reason my 2 of my torches aren’t happy with me today. I think it might have something to do with light coming through a window, but not to worry, I can fix it.

Everything else seems to be doing good, going to do the rest of my tests today, and as of last night my nitrates were 3. I need MOAR fish poop

Finally went to the depot of home, got some needle nose pliers…
IMG_1448.jpeg

Gonna get those darn vermetid snails!

Edit, that failed. I need smaller pliers. I got about 5 snails, the rest are tucked away in cracks I can’t get to.

My pair was from hobby lobby for working with jewelry. They are smaller than the normal ones.
