How did you get the pods started and Multiplying ? I always wanted a Mandarin , but for some reason when I purchase pods they disappear. Some are survivors and stay in the Chaeto in the refugium, but NOT that many. So - I assume the rest get eaten quickly.

Love the rock-work. Just got my 40 cube up and running and trying to decide what to do with the rock-work and what inhabitants I want. Picked up a used Reef Breeder photon 24 for lights.

I didn't do much lol. I did add some pods right after I started this tank because I lost a lot when I moved everything over from my other tank. I don't have anything else that eats them except my male clown will occasionally grab a few. A fuge definitely helps alot. I have monster sized pods in my fuge lol. Thanks:) I had a minimalist rock scape in my 75 so I was able to use all but 2 pieces in this tank. Your gonna love the cube, I don't think I ever want a regular rectangular tank again after this:)

Here's some updated pics. I am getting a little bit of GHA even though I've been running a phosban reactor since I got the sump online. I think it's those few rocks leaching phosphate, I've had them for about 5 years now. Notice that my urchin is a frag thief lol. Even when it's glued down!

Love it! Looks awesome!! I have a 40 gallon cube, and am mapping out my upgrade to a 125.
Love your rock work!

That's a good upgrade! As much as I hate to say it is think I will have to go bigger at some point. Probably to the 93. I really don't want to but my corals buying compulsion is making it so that the 45 won't last long lol.

Hey guys, I guess it's time I shared my tank. I've been holding off because of how dreadfully empty it is, but it's only been up for about a month. I am holding out for LEAR next month, but did get a few things for a birthday yesterday. The new is the sad duncan, the tiny baby frogspawn (isn't he cute:) ) the candy cane, the cleaner shrimp, and a few more snails. Everything else came from my 75. I just added the sump on about 2 weeks ago. Sorry about the crappy phone pics.

My sump is a 15 gallon and I did the baffles all by myself, with no help from the hubby:D actually this whole build has been only me, with just an occasional "honey, can you come hold this" haha.

And speaking of the hubs, he got me some pretty sweet birthday gifts, he knows me so well:)

I know I am leaving a ton out, but my thumbs are getting tired from typing on my phone lol. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to fire away. Thank you for checking out my tank:)
I like your tank and understand dragging in the hubby. Mine said "no way, no how" and has actually done almost everything! Didn't realize how much my arthritic hands would hamper me. Anyway he has been a trouper. Keep us updated please.

How do u get those great close-ups?
Thanks, idk if I would call them great. Not terrible for a cell phone though haha. I just zoomed in as close as the phone would allow and made sure it was flat against the glass. Eventually I will get a big girl camera:)

Well . I got my first smart phone 5 months ago and I have felt dumb ever since. I guess like anything else- it takes practice and experience. Take good pics with my regular old Panasonic camera - but I cant figure out how to decrease the pixels to be able to post them on Forum Boards - so I never use it anymore.
