Aww man, that's sucks. I love these fish in a major way. I would love to try my hand at paring another one up one day. I've been looking some info on males and females and the difference between them. It will be a while before that happens though.

Mine was really scared for the first several days but it has really come out of its shell now (so to speak). I found that Larry's food was the trick with mine. In the short time that I've had him, he has colored up VERY nice and is active for a blue dot. I hope my luck continues.

You got a heck of a deal on the echinata and it is a very nice piece. I too love the blue dot jawfish. He is a very nice specimen.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm really picky about clowns and when I saw these, I had to have them. They are very clean, as in their white is white and not off white. Their orange is very orange, almost fluorescent, and their black is pitch black.

After a few days of getting use to everything, they have now settled in nicely. They are eating like pigs as well. I'm very happy with them.

Another cool coral I picked up. The pics I'm posting are terrible as all of them have been taken using my phone. Once I get the final selections completed, I will break out the regular camera.

Not really a tank update but I'm bored. Switching back to nights so I'm trying to stay awake, lol.

Anyway, since I only have the biocube and a little 3g Pico, I got these. I really like the Aquavitro line of dosing stuff. No need to go big with BRS as I would never go through all that stuff. There are a few others I want but here's the line up as of now.

I've heard good things about Aquavitro but never tried it. My LFS always recommends it but I figured its just a sales pitch. Interested to see if there's a noticeable difference.

Another chalice scored. I think I'm about maxed now. I will post the pictures soon. I broke my good camera out. This one was on my phone.

Did a little moving around today after my EMS class , I work with the Sheriffs Office over the weekend and them I'm off for several days after that. I plan that during this time, I will be placing things in their final locations and removing some things from my tank. I want to make room for a few ORA pieces that I wiol get at the begining of the week. Its starting to look up with something I had in mind. Please give me some feedback, I learn this way

I'm going to try this yet again. This is the 3rd time I've tried listing this and for some reason, my phone does not like to and will continue to not fully post this stuff.

Okay so here we go, simple style.

Frogspawn @ 10 heads. 150.00
Duncan @ 5 heads. 75.00
Echinata. 21.99
Chalice. 31.99
Chalice. 31.99
Eye of Rah x2. 2.00
Armor of Gods x5 25.00
Mix Zoas x50. 50.00
Sun coral. 20.00
Green toadstool. 20.00
Pocilipora. 30.00
Digitata less than 1". 15.00

This should bring me to a rounded up total of $473.00

I will get full pictures soon. If I'm disqualified for not having this posted before the 10th I'm sorry. Haven't added anything in a week but rules are rules and my profession can be demanding at times. Sorry if I violated and got myself booted from the competition.

Thanks! I had to move them into my 3g Pico because they ate all my budget up for this competition. The FMV was up there.

Okay, so I went to take pictures today and noticed something missing, Reggie. Obviously I went crazy trying to find him, to the point I almost ripped all my rock out.

After 3 hours of searching, nothing. I knocked some water out of the tank so I had to refill the third chamber in the biocube. I happened to start checking the carpet, just to see if somehow he jumped out. Out of the corner of my eye, I see it. A big beautiful bluedot jawfish just a chilling on top of my UV sterilizer.

Alive and well, although a little ticked because he has missed a meal or two, Reggie is now back under his favorite rocks.

How this dude got into the third chamber of my biocube, I have no idea, but he did. Now all my corals are ticked, the clowns are protesting and my leopard wrasse is pouting in the corner. Oh Reggie, how I love you! ****
