Once it’s filled with water you won’t see those. If you are replacing glass you might as well buy a brand new tank. The time and cost will break even.

I'm 100 percent sure the amount of scratches would never come out.

This is literally 6 inches of the front glass... You are saying that will remove all scratches?
Nope not that.

If you run a fingernail over them and can't feel it, then you can buff it out. If you're running your fingernail over it and you can feel that divots then it would be tough. Kind of like buffing a scratch out of the paint in a car.
