Seriously?

Take a look at the composition, along with the claim that it has a specific gravity of 1.027 and has elements in their natural concentration and is unchanged by them.

2000 ppm Mg
29,000 ppm chloride
16,000 ppm sodium

Forget everything else, those add up to more than 47,000 ppm (47 ppt) all by themselves.

Am I misunderstanding somehow?

My favorite part is "100% natural" followed immediately by "Fortified with QX-23 Enriched"

And then further down "this product is in it's natural state we did not alter it"

Grammar aside (its not it's), it's either 100% natural or it's not.

Maybe they did an analysis and did not correct properly for some sort of dilution step. I can't believe it really matches that description.

Hard to believe it could be a typo when they are all off, but they are not all off by the same amount, so I really don't know what is going on.

That's the water those guys on that show "Tanked" use. They make sure to let you know what water they use. They state since they use that water, live sand and their version of a bacteria in a bottle they are able to add fish right away.

I get it from here and I sell it real cheap. Just meet me there with a bucket and I will sell you all you want and it is guaranteed to have everything in it that "real" salt water has in the correct proportions. At this time of the year I also pre chill it for you.

Sorry but they have already patented natural seawater. U.S. PATENT #6,376,229. You will owe them a royalty.

If you get it from the shore good luck to you. Unless you know something I don't but wouldn't that be filled with stuff we don't want in the tank? Maybe go out further?

I was actually going to ask what a safe distance from the shore was to get me water on a regular basis? and if I need to filter it?
