Update to my Ritteri. Had to do another round of antibiotics. I used Fish Flox (amoxicillin). He has been back in tank and thriving.
Thanks again Reefahholic. I suggest anybody who has a magnificent keep fish Flox on hand. It works wonders.

Wow, this is great! Not only did you get good advise fast, but you acted on it quickly and it worked. Nice job everyone!

Wow! What a turnaround that nem has done. I will definitely be keeping some Fish Flox on hand.

I did 2 treatments. The 1st with Cipro. A couple weeks later when he was sick again I used Mox. Both worked well. I had to do. 50% water change in DT in case he was getting an infection from there.

Glad to hear. I've had very little luck with fish mox.

The broad spec gram negative antibiotics like Cipro and Bactrim are what work best for me.

Fish Sulfa Forte is good to have on hand as well. Seems lately that mags end up needing multiple treatments, and even then still don't make it. Curious. When I treated my first Mag many years ago based on the indirect suggestion of Joe Y., it was good to go after one. My most recent mag need three trips.

Question for the group. My nem is back to healthy for sure. He is still roaming quite a bit - mostly from one high point on the rock work to another or around the same rock. He can't seem to get settled. Nitrates & Phosphate at detectable levels. Any thoughts as to what might be causing him to be so unsettled?
