Hi all,
My storage container for my mixed Randy’s sodium hydroxide recipe began to leak at the bottom a few days after filling it. I mixed the solution in a separate container, and didn’t put it in the storage container until it was cool. Is it possible that the cooled solution may still have caused this?

Here is the link of the container I’m talking about.

Recommendations for safe containers?

Better than glass?

Glass is OK, yes. Each has some minor pros and cons. Glass can break, and can leach some silicate while plastic can melt if it gets hot, and may release organic additives in the plastic.
