Corals are so fascinating. I have had this one stick for awhile, it is a purple and had rainbow polyps where it was growing, kind like a rainbow monti thing. It was growing into another coral, and neither looked worse for wear, so I left them alone.

I just looked at it tonight and it is picking up green in it's color, it was touching a highlighter green candlelight acro. Crazy, I've had it so long in the same conditions and color has been consistent .

Also this change in branch color has happened in the last week. You can see in the green acro above it that white spot which is where I just separated it, it took some damage. Wondering if it will pick up colors from the other acro.

Agree, but what I'm saying is a week ago those branches were still purple red. It is going to be a crazy interesting acro, I still have no idea what kind of acro it is. Bought it as a rather plain no namer.
Reminds me of FHC jaw jacker. If it wasn’t super “happy” it would look like your before pic or worse but when it was happy, it was really nice like your now pic. I had a hard time keeping it that way. Some acros really show off if conditions are right but look a lot different when they aren’t just right
