Had a couple more to share from recent jobs:

Looking north from a 64 story bldg I did a final survey on last week.

This is from today of a bldg built in the 1830s. It was originally a courthouse, almost demolished in the 60s, now a public library. On 6th Av in the village.

Looking down thru the opening on the observation deck at 30 Hudson yards. The highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere 1,100 feet.

Haha nice! Here is a pic of that building when the deck was still under construction. I don't remember where I was when I snapped it. 20180919_111137.jpg

Couple oldies:

View of the Brooklyn Bridge from the top of the Woolworth Building (2008ish).

Me on an open deck at 40 Broad St, camera is looking north to the corner of Broad and Wall St. That's Federal Hall on the corner (2007ish).
Been years that I've been to Brooklyn New York but I remember timing myself walking across the Brooklyn Bridge it took about 15 to 20 minutes for me and my two buddies to get a cross at that time I was 18 years old.

I give you a lot of credit, working on machines/vehicles is really tough on the body. My only experience is with my own cars, just did a spark plug change in a 2014 Audi last weekend... my fingers still hurt.
Me and my buddy my buddy was a Master Mechanic at that time for Dodge dealer and my other other friend's car 2003 Altima at the time had a bad sensor took us almost all day try to remove $40 sensor it was hard.

Lol, good one! :D

I worked for a cell site optimization company before becoming a surveyor, had to take a tower climbing safety class. It was much tougher than it looked.

Ahhhh no, 30ft is about the max I’ll go lol.
