Wow, why did I think that was a leather at first. Did you say that was an astreopora? Never heard of them but that's beautiful!
This is my Chilli Coral, my Astreopora is the bright Green colony;

While our tanks can have dozens of different colonies and frags, we all have those few that, in your opinion, are your best piece in the tank. Whether that be a designer acropora, unique favia, or just a leather that has been thriving in your tank since day one. What is your best piece in your reef tank and why?

I'll go first.

Not the best picture, but this paly blows my mind. Nothing compares to it, the polyps look like they're not even real.

Wait, you have a piece of that prismatic lobo? I know there was one large colony that was broken up into small pieces, can't find any more like it. The one I had ordered died in my LFS's frag tank before I could pick it up, what's your secret? I cannot seem to keep any wild lobophyllia alive. Ever have an issue with boring clams?

This is my favorite coral. The photo of the colony did not come out good. So just a picture of it's offspring.

The rainbow lobo? I have had no issues with boring clams or any issues at all. My supplier told me it was imported from Australia. No secrets. I just don’t do water changes, I don’t run a skimmer or socks, no carbon dosing. Nothing really. Just top offs with all for reef, an algae turf scrubber, and feed it occasionally at night

Nitrates 0-5
Phosphates .02-.05
Alk 8-8.5
Calcium around 440-470

Yeah, that one is part of a aussie colony, funny thing is I've tried aussie lobos twice, one died at my LFS before I brought it and the other was doing good for about a month and then bleached and then STN'd, that one had 4 boring clams, so did the prismatic lobo at my LFS. I also am running no-water change but coral only, feed heavy and do change filter socks. Parameters are basically the same as yours... I want to try again but I don't want to spend $150 on another lobo only for it to die... you've had that one for around six months, right?
