Sorry to hear about this @ca1ore. You’ve been an awesome guy to have for so long. I hope you will find what you need to reignite your passion in the hobby as I would hate (and many of us will) to see you leave.

Off-topic, you still have your Asfur? How long have you had it and do they get large in captivity?
I am old enough now to know that impulsive decisions are often regretted. I'll give it plenty of time. Haven't been active much here for a while.

Asfur is 5-6 ..... seems to have maxed out at bout 7".

Breaks are good. Auto pilot is also good. It isn't your first rodeo as you said so focus on today then worry about the display another day. Besides how much trouble can 60 or so damsels get into when you are not watching them :D

All the best to you.

Right now, my main issue is that the purple magnifica has gotten huge. I reckon it’s close to 30” across when fully inflated. Refuses to split. Lays waste to anything to touches.

Why not just sell the anemone then? I'm happy to help it find a new home (in my tank)...

LOL, my tank is a 36" front-to-back 450 and this anemone is on its way to being too big. How big is your tank?

Haha, I've got a 180 (24" front to back) that I can devote a portion to if it can compress a few inches lol. Plus I'm close enough that when it eventually splits you can have a piece back if you want.

May have been there for a while, and I just did not notice before. Going to need to keep an eye on it ...

I’ve used that liquid weld on before and it works great… needle application that gets sucked into the joint and bonds
I think that the only fish affected by that application are Zebra tangs, so let me know if you need to remove it!

Well, I decided to take the advice I’ve dispensed regularly over the years ….. don’t panic or over-react. Spoke to the builder and he advised keeping an eye on it and not to intervene. Nothing has changed in a month …..

Hope all goes well with your tank, same dimensions I aspire to one day, so have been following for a while. Really impressive.
