I wish I knew what did him in. Im wondering if he was already sick. Im thinking he was just too stressed out.

Did he ever eat for you? When they never settle in I agree with you, they are just stressed out and sickly. If I lose fish, it is usually in the first 2 weeks. After that they live forever!

Yeah he ate a tiny bit for 2 days. Thing is that he was super skittish. He would dart out of the cave and retreat immediately. The night before he passed he didnt come out for food. Next morning he was found dead

Bummer on the gramma and diatoms. But good stuff on the coralline.

The live rock i used to seed had some coralline on it already. But growth seems to have doubled this past week.

Is the red cyano?

Skimmer is starting to kick butt. Pulling lots of junk. The SCA-301 is well worth the price. Took almost 2 weeks to break in.

All my parameters are optimal. So I went and picked up 3 small frags.

Corals are looking good. I looked at the SCA-301 but ended up not having an sump to run it in. It looks like it is a good option at a great price! I am looking forward too seeing the growth you will have with your new pieces.

Thanks Dawn and JS!
Picked up a new mini colony zoa up yesterday, 50 polyps or so. I fragged it down into 3 separate pieces. 25-30 polyps, 15 polyps, 6 polyps. Not sure of the name of this zoa.

Here is the bigger of the 3.

Checked all my levels again today. My diatom bloom lasted all but 1 day. A few trochus snails made quick work of that I do have some diatoms on the sandbed. But these snails do not like cleaning up the sand bed. I'm surprised I haven't really gotten a case of the "uglies" just yet.

FTS update. Added a few tiny frags. All levels are perfect. A tad of hair algae now. Hoping its part of the new tank blues.
