It was horrifying to see on the glass, but was quite easy to catch due to its size. Just want to make sure you don’t tear them, because they’re extremely delicate and supposedly the torn pieces can become a new flatworm. It was unfortunate to go through, but it’s part of the hobby. Good to know about them now and what to look for to prevent it in the future

Beautiful story and definitely gave me the warm fuzzies!I’m a licensed pilot and this summer I was fortunate enough to be able to spend my time working with Pilots N Paws. They’re a volunteer organization that allows me to have the honor of transporting animal rescues to their forever home! It was honestly so great. My girlfriend was my co-pilot and being that we really love animals ourselves, it was extremely rewarding to not only provide a safer environment for the animals than commercial flight but also seeing how happy the families were with their new addition! I hope to do it again soon. Rentals got way too expensive in my area and school’s got me fully tied up right now but I’m saving up for my own aircraft and plan to continue supporting Pilots N Paws as well as other volunteer organizations as soon as I have the time again!
