Andy, great job on stand and paint color chosen. You could always do a little glazing on the trim pieces and applique for that added touch. there are some nice and easy metallic glazes that would really set off the Key-lime Green.

This morning I bought a pint of Killz latex to layer the inside the cabinet. Listening to Jimmy Buffett like the Parrot Head I am I got inspired to paint the inside a lagoon blue and leave the frame white to give it a more tropical look. Since the Killz is a pure white I'll apply another layer to the frame.

Smoooth!! I like white interiors. 2 tone interior... Even better!

Soon... We may start adding molding on the inside!!

Thanks Christian! There is a lot of room under there..in fact...so much room that it was no problem laying in there and being able to paint. Im now starting to think about lighting under here. Most likely LED's but in what fashion, wattage and how many. It would be awesome but not practical to throw some tacky Christmas light under here!..LOL

im so jelly :( gab has not painted the stand yet. also we got all the rock almost, just need shelf rock now. Also the stand is low so hoping im able to get the skimmer i want in there i need to get the dims again.

great work so far!

i no it will :p after everything is cleaned up from flooding the basement 2 nights ago... i left the RODI unit on for 18hrs spilt 114G of water.... lol forgot to turn it off when i was about to go to bed...

gab woke me up and said hey..... did you shut off the ro unit.... i ran down stairs so quick.... lol im so happy she kept her cool threw out the day tho. 0.o
