The one I was looking at and liked was the ornate.
I haven’t seen the ornatissimus in a long time as I believe they were mainly exported from Hawaii. I know they have another place of origin from the Marquesas and Christmas Islands but I don’t believe they’re exported much from those Islands.

Mine were also tiny, a little smaller than your. They were so small they cannot eat a whole small mysis. I have to chop the mysis to 1/3 and remove the head before I feed them. Tedious. I were just around 1+ inch. They grew fast however.

I would love a female rhomboidalis but dang, I’ve yet to see a true female.
After having a female flasher I just love their size difference compared to the males.

Any of you know about Bodanius sepiacaudus? Looks on the smalle side of hogfish, no? Local has one. Unfortunately says it picks on his smaller wrasses and only smaller wrasses.
