Toad stool wouldn't open & now it's wearing a Jimmy hat!

My toad stool didn't extend polyps at all yesterday. Today half the polyps are extended & if I didn't know better I'd say its taking off a condom Anybody have any idea what just happened here?

Shedding. It's normal. Happens often with leathers.

Yup, mine does that all the time.
