I've done alot of research before even thinking about vitamin C and almost every article says that it is a carbon source and that it will elevate the bacteria levels in the water then bacteria thrives off the nutrients in the system with also removes nitrate and phosphates threw the skimmer in the form of bacteria.
This is pretty much what I learned from allot of research and if I'm wrong then say so because I'm fairly new to the idea of carbon dosing
