What is on my rock flower anemone?

I bought this adult rock flower anemone from my LFS last week. He attached easily. What are these little spikes on it? Is this normal or a pest? Thank you for any advice!

Mini-maxi and need white lighting as this image is very dark in blue lighting

Bit late, but FYI, these have a much stronger sting than RFAs. Shouldn't cause you any pain if you touch it, but they are known to capture and eat small fish, particularly perching fish like gobies.

Now you know to be very weary of any info or advice given by your LFS! They are not saltwater experts.
