Great idea for a thread.

My minimalist mix the one time I did it was:
- Bulk was freshly shucked clams and mussels
- Selcon-soaked dry stuff; Ocean Nutrition Formula Two flakes, freeze-dried krill, chopped sheet nori, crushed algae wafers

...mostly for ease utilizing dry stuff I already had

1 cube brine shrimp
1 cube mysis shrimp
1 cube hikari squid
2 chopped clams
Small pinch of cobalt marine Omni
Blend, freeze cut up into cubes
feed 3 a week

It's more of a treat

Anything with Selcon added to it :)

With a big variety of fish just ended up doing rod's frozen, mysis and formula flakes and then clipped nori from Whole Foods for the tangs.

For the two picky angels in QT I had to use fresh seafood to get them to eat and transitioned to mysis and frozen.

Honestly too lazy to make my own food :p

Clams
Shimp
Squid
Fish, like flounder
Nori
Pellets
Flake
Mr. Chilli
Any other food laying around.
Tank water
Amminos (if I have it)

Blender it all together to a pasty consistency, may need to add more tank water, put it in my mini ice cube tray for freezing. When frozen, flip upside down under hot water to release and put it all in a zip lock. Back in the freezer.

Im surprised there aren’t more responses of people blending up food that they bough from the seafood counter at the grocery store or seafood market.
That's my post above... A combo of frozen, with some fresh shrimp, mussels and clams. Everything and anything, lol.

It's funny when the guy at the counter says "you want 2 shrimp and 1 large clam?" haha

Shrimp, clams and scallops. This is my staple. On occasion I may add other things but these 3 ingredients are my go to offerings.

Squid, octopus, clams, shrimp and scallops from the market. Around 4 different types of shrimp from Hikari and some Marine A pellets. This covers all the different needs my mixture of fish like, mostly the different variables in size/types of the different foods.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
