I took out the two Allen screws at the end and replaced them with longer Phillips screws from the hardware store. I put a nylon nut on the inside for good measure. It works awesome and looks good too IMO.

I have the ATI sunpower 6x54w non dimmable with a 48" reefbrite Blue LED strip bolted to the front of it. Looks like they are meant to be together.

Bulb Combo:

ATI Blue +
ATI Purple +
ATI Blue +
ATI Coral +
ATI Blue +
ATI Blue +

Height from water: approx 6"

Light Schedule from Apex:

Reef Brite:
If Time 09:00 to 22:30 Then ON

Actinics:
If Time 11:00 to 21:30 Then ON

Daylights:
If Time 13:30 to 19:00 Then ON

Notes:
I originally purchased the reefbrite to get more pop from my challices. Now that I am more SPS dominant, I keep the LED lights because they add a nice blue tint to my water and helped me get my desired light color that I have been seeking for like 6 years. The Reefbrite still adds an extra "pop" to the corals. You definitely notice the difference with it on and off. Hard to say on whether or not it increased growth or not. I have had it on my tank for so long that I never noticed anything substantial growth wise. I should add that I have had to replace the power supply twice in probabaly 4 years or so.

I hope this helped. I highly recommend you getting one.

What's your tank dimensions ?

So I raised my lights 3 inches to 15 inches off the water line and adjusted my light cycle to the following
Reef brights 2 -12pm 10 hours
2 bulb ati 3-11pm 8 hours
4 bulb ati 4-10pm. 6 hours
Reef bright xho 5-9pm. 4 hours

What do u guys think about the light cycle .
I am hoping it helps my coral to color back up again.

48.24.14 80 gallon
48 " 6 bulb ati and two reef brights

are you guys using the XHO or the tech version? I have a 8 bulb 24" sunpower and would like to add the reefbrite to it as well and maybe not use 2 bulbs as i have a ballast not working now. This is on a 93g marineland cube.

I run the XHO's. Rather than running fewer bulbs, I run more actinic T5. The results have been fantastic.

What combo are you using?

7 Bulb T5 Fixture

BACK
XHO Reefbrite Blue
Blue+
Pure Actinic
Pure Actinic
KZ New Generation / ATI Aquablue Special
Pure Actinic
Pure Actinic
Blue+
XHO Reefbrite Blue
FRONT

This combo is sick, the colors pop like crazy yet it's not overwhelmed with blue.

I used to run 6 Blue+ and 1 Fiji Purple. It was overwhelmingly blue and I wasn't 100% satisfied with the results. So I tried swapping out a couple Blue+ for Pure Actinic, then a couple more..... then I replaced the Fiji Purple with a normal a White bulb. Never been more pleased with the look with this configuration.

Thanks! Do you have the XHO mounted to the fixture or? Do you have a pic?

Sorry for the late response I have not been on this thread for a while .
To answer your question the lighting scheduled was still to much for my shallow tank . I now run LEDs for 8 hours .
4 bulb for 6 hours and the last two bulbs of ati fixture for 4 hours .
It stopped burning all my corals
