pretty cool.Thanks ocean cube! These guys are pretty finicky. The water has to be perfect. I just finished my masters so I kinda neglected the system a bit. Now Ive graduated, i will have more time to dedicate to these guys...And my other 25 fish lol.
It's been 4 months since they last laid eggs. When they get their groove perfect it goes like this.
Day 1 lay
Day 7 first few eggs hatch 10%
Day 8 majority hatch 80-85%
Day 9 the rest 5-10%
Day 17-20 expect another batch.
Thanks man, I'm a big fan of your clowns! They did have a high mortality rate at around the range you mentioned. I believe in their case the male was the oscillaris but I am not sure if it will make a difference. They are pretty aggressive with each other so I will be separating them out in the next month or so.pretty cool.
i think proaquatics was doing this but abandoned the project. i believe they had a high mortality rate around the 6 to 9 month period.
i dont know which was the male but i wonder if that will make a difference
