Scientific name - Cephalopholis urodeta

Common name - Darkfin Hind, V-tail Grouper, Flagtail Grouper

Size - 10.6" (27 cm)

Min. Aquarium size - 100 US Gal. (379 L)

Foods and feeding - Marine fare for carnivores, marine fish, crustacean flesh, feed 2-4 times a week.

Reef compatibility - Dines on ornamental crustaceans and fish tank mates.

Captive care - Acclimates well to captivity, will greedily accept chopped fresh or frozen seafood's, other frozen preparations, freeze dried krill, keep only one per aquarium (prone to fight with each other), will eat any fish it can swallow whole including cleaner Wrasse, will defend its preferred hiding places, will place an elevated stress on filtration systems.
