How do I get some of my corals to become Tyree LE's

:angel: Just a general question that someone can answer. How do you get particular corals to become Tyree LE's? I google it ans ask.com it but nothing came about. Please your response will help.

You send him a frag or chunk of the colony and if he likes it he will put his name in front of it. Ask Mike at sexy corals. He has a bunch named and would know a lot more

The way I understand it, you contact tyree, send him your coral for evaluation, and if he deems it worthy he make it the newest tyree coral.

Like said above, you contact him, see if he is interested then if he is you send him a piece,then he "grades" it, to see if it fit the "Tyree Standards",ill call it, and if it does then he makes it LE.I think that is kinda how it works

Basiclly,you send your coral to Steve after he sees a picture of it,or you send him a picture.

He will then take your coral into evaluation,which is where he looks at growth rate,color,and which lighting works best for the coral,etc.

If the coral is truly exotic and cool,it will them turn into a LE.If it is just exotic and nice,it will then be a Tyree Exotic.

Pretty simple.

I think it helps to be "somebody" when you send something. Some seem to have bunches of Tyree corals and I doubt that the average guy would ever get one through.

Anyone can send him a coral,the coral just has to be good and a super new and cool coral.And you do not have to be a sombody to get a LE coral.THere are many LE corals by average people in this hobby.

I say if you have a cool piece take or get some one to take some nice pics of it..give it some background info and a cool catchy name and it could become more famous than some of Tyree's corals. It would men more to you too! Good luck!
