I am currently in the process of downgrading from a 210 gallon to an 80 gallon tank. I will have a 40 gallon breeder for my sump.

It's not done yet but that is what I have so far. I'm happy with it as it's my first stand build ever

What's the open square in the front for? I'm assuming opening for sump access but it looks a little small?

@Rhino it is the one with a rim. I'm not a rimless fan yet lol.

The hole in front is so I can view the sump cause I am putting my zoas and mushrooms in the sump. All the panels are removable so I can access the sump from front, electric from one side, and have shelves on the other side. Once it is done I will take better pics to show what I mean lol.

I can understand that I slosh water constantly using my mag float. Those are very nice tanks. I am going to pick one up as soon as I have more room for a tank. Keep the updates coming.

The stand is taking forever to finish due to me having to work, but I hope to have it finished by the end of next weekend. I still have to cut the baffles for the sump and get in some new bulkheads. So while at work I have been thinking about the stock and here is what I have come up with.

Currently have:
Sailfin tang (want to get rid of it but hubby wants to keep it till it gets a bit bigger)
Clownfish
Midas blenny

Want to get:
Watanabei Angelfish
Blackcap basslet
Carberryi anthia
Firefish
Neon goby
Multicolor lubbocks fairy wrasse
Longfin fairy wrasse
Whipfin fairy wrasse
Carpenters flasher wrasse
Mccoskers flasher wrasse

Thanks. It's turned out better than I thought lol.

If memory serves me right it is 44" tall. Lost my tape measure lol.

Hopefully soon I will be able to finally get it up and running just been so busy.

Good lord that stand is WONDERFULLY done! bravo!

Is the hole in the front going to be the only access to the sump? Or hopefully you made it to where it comes off. :)

EDIT: Wait, I think I see where it comes apart now. Doh! lol

The front and sides have panels. The back is wide open.

Here is one side with panel on. The other side looks exactly the same but I can access the electrical on the other side. This side is storage and will soon have shelves. Pictures as follow.
