Hey rev, i'm going to enter in this contest because i don't have a skimmer and could use one badly !! I'd like to start going towards a reef system but can't afford the equipment.
Scomstock
Tank is a 29Gal Marineland with Eclipse2 hood/light/filter/bio-wheel
20lbs live sand 10lbs crushed coral
30lbs premium Fiji live rock

Tank Inhabitants
1 three stripe damsel
1 yellow tail damsel
1 domino damsel
1 fiji blue devil
1 blue reef damsel
1 Orchid Dottyback
1 Springeri Dottyback
1 Chocolate chip starfish
2 hermit crabs
2 turbo snails
