Been awhile since I've taken a photo of this tank.![]()
Here’s a few updated photos of different Coral. No orange filters.
I just finished gluing everyone in place after a couple days of hermit crabs knocking them over so they aren’t fully open yet BUT I am excited to finally share my REEF tank. Wow it feels good to say that!
Zoa garden is featured on the front left. Then from left to right is the Pavona (potato chip), Montipora setosa, Candelabra Gorgonian, and an Alveopora.
My shell full of Pulsing Xenia is doing great despite constantly being inspected by the hermits.
Update built canopy and some new corals![]()

I created and installed a ParlaGravRoller filter.
I can get 100 and 30 micron paper for it.

I added a Watermelon BTA today and Little Evil the maroon clown took to it immediately! Hoping a month before adding corals is enough to get it to settle in one spot so I can place the rest of the reef accordingly! Anyone else want to be as comfy as a clownfish snuggled into an anemone? It looks so cozy
Time to watch the Nems grow out up top and diversify the macros down low. The 30w light is really nice for the price but I want to get a better ramp up/down my LTA is very particular about light settings. It seems it likes about 9hrs 100-150par. And I didn't get the refugium light in the video but I remembered a picture. It's a nice grow rated cob. Way nicer on the wallet then these $70-100 red/blue lights.

Sorry if you don't like the audio I thought it was funny to cover up the bad background audio.
Just a couple of more recent photos![]()

I took the stock light off because it was giving my livestock a slow death. I just have a cheaper light. hygger 30 Watts Aquarium LED Reef Light, Dimmable Full Spectrum Marine LED Fish Tank Light Saltwater Nano Aquarium LPS SPS Lighting https://a.co/d/fANMVIXhygger 30 Watts Aquarium LED Reef Light, Dimmable Full Spectrum Marine LED Fish Tank Light Saltwater Nano Aquarium LPS SPS Lighting https://a.co/d/fANMVIX
It's a good light capable of a lot for the price. Puts out around 300 PAR 8 inches directly below it on max settings. I hope to upgrade to a light with a more controlled timer. Ramp up/down ect.
The next upgrade is a simple filter floss and chemipure blue sammiched in egg crate. Hopefully it polishes the water better.
Salinity 1.026
Nitrates 5
Phosphate 3 ( yesterday)
I did a large waterchange yesterday. I'm going to do another at lights off will be 50% waterchange with 100% removed and ran through a filter sock after I blew off the rock and stirred everything very well. Tank is 6 months it needed the deep clean. I feel like it's in a stable spot at least.
Just added a 30” grow and a diy mount. Let’s see who can guess what it’s made out of first.
Also this guy came by to check it out!
Decided to gut the 120gal display tank and start over. New aquascape, get rid of... some aggressive/territorial fish, excessive amount of live rock, detritus muck and silt. Let the fun begin!
Hey, I just wanted to post a little update on my tank. I have slowly grown into a lot of acros and more zoa. The collection keeps building. I am setting up a frag tank soon!!!
New lights, gift for myself. FTS after installing them
