Update April, under daylight and under blue light with new LED bar fixture from ZOOX, honestly it's much much brighter than my old Illumagic LED bar, but Illumagic is the most photogenic i've seen (yes make best photos for uploading but not really make best colours for corals)
My proud is NO adjust like sarturation to make coraline behind the object becomes pure red or yellow fishes like the yellow tang becomes orange or neon green...

Couple of pictures and video of my tank today. I got a Target Spot Mandarin a few months back and he's not shy. He eats frozen just like the rest of the fish. I think he's looking pretty healthy! Also my torch is looking real good, I thought I would share.

My crown leather running away from my torch today! :grinning-face-with-sweat:![]()
As of 3/2/25 levels have stabilized and looking awesome. I’ve went ahead and added a couple clowns and some zoas courtesy of @Corals.com
I also added a second gyre and moved them to the left and right side of the overflow for a more clean look and hopefully even flow throughout the tank.
So i bought a Bleeding Apple Scolymia for my birthday(Jan 31) I got it and it looked pretty good. Being in my tank it slowly just started receding and showing more skeleton. I'm thinking it was due to having high PO4 in my system. I took the Scoly to my local LFS to see if they could nurse it back to health while I try and get my Phosphates under control. I've been carbon dosing for months now and it's only dropped my NO3. I think I just have so much PO4 bound up in my rocks and sand. So I started using GFO about a week ago(2/23). It does lower PO4 temporarily then it goes back up. I been keeping at it changing it every day. I'm going to LFS today to see if my Scoly has shown any improvement.![]()

Two shots roughly a year a part I believe. Some changes were made as some corals died as a result of coral warfare. Recently the gold torch died for no apparent reason. The green torch has been struggling with recession or no growth growth for close to a year now. Both were most likely wild specimens as to why they haven’t been able to do well in captivity. The one “boring” torch is the only one that is doing great and of course it’s aquacultured. Goes to show maybe spending the extra $ on aquacultured corals may be worth while. The one big acropora you see on the frag rack actually was almost completely gone at one point. It bleached to a point where there was only some tissue left, I cut the dead skeleton off, did not change a thing, and it has made an amazing comeback.
