About 2 months ago my Acanthophylia decided to pop off of its skeleton and floated until it found a little corner in my tank. I thought it would eventually die off because of that but since then it’s only kept growing and has been thriving without its skeleton. Is this normal?

My Acanthophyllia has started to have an open mouth, showing some skeleton, and a bring a bit “droopy”. I’ve lowered the flow in his area (what I suspect may be the issue), but any advice is helpful
