I just brought home my first corals… went with pulsing Xenia and GSP… but I’m having a hard time figuring out where flow is low enough in my tank that would be good for the Xenia and where a good place to glue the gsp would be… any input is appreciated (:

So I have my hammers and candy cane that I feel aren’t in the best spots based on the light and flow in those areas. I wondered where the best placement would be. I attached some pictures of my aquarium and scape.

Can cabbage coral be kept on the substrate? Will the tissue be irritated? I rarely see any sand covering it and it seems happy but for the bottom half touching the sand. It never seems to as fully extend. Should I prop the rock it’s on up off the sand?
