The pictures speak for themselves selves. Other than the eye, the fish seems to be acting normal. What is going on here and how can I help the fish?

I’ve had this fish for less than 2 weeks. Eats and acts normally. Noticed a bump on its head today. Is it simply a “bump”, like it bumped into something? Or something else? Sorry for the crowd - all the fish come to the front of the tank when I show up 😁
