Hey now. I was told today by my LFS that with “the right rock work” one KPM (or even kps) is enough for a 40g breeder, you don’t need two kps. Having the right rock work will allow for a toilet bowl like effect.

I’m curious if anyone can expand on this for me. How would I achieve that?

I would ask them to expand on their thoughts. Really more flow the better. I am assuming they mean rock work not interfering with the flow pattern but I am not sure what they mean

I’m curious about power head placement. Where can I put one or two to make sure I get good flow.
