Month 6 update. Got the replacement trident and my stuff was messed up. My Ca was over 600, and then I had a push-click battery powered light fall into my sump overnight. I caught it the next morning while doing my shine doses, but it killed my 2 yellow tangs (Bip and Bop) and my contest Bonsai RTNed following the massive water change.

Month 5 update. I moved all my contest frags to the center, sitting at just over 300 PAR now. The HTMM has colored up more now that its light isn't blocked. Now that it's directly under the XR30, I've noticed the tips have a neon yellow/green. I'm hopeful that that is an indicator it will start growing soon.

I'm 99% sure my neptune trident is dying and due for a refurb, as the numbers it's putting up are way out of whack.

April Update:

PXL_20240423_222251805.jpg

Alk ~ 7.6
Cal ~ 420
Mag ~ 1340
Nitrate ~ 6 & Phos ~ 0.05
Pretty sure my Trident Cal/Mag is off/ reading a bit low compared to last month's ICP tests, but haven't done an ICP in a month to verify. Thinking my Cal may be closer to 450 and Mag Closer to 1380/1400

Are we changing notifications to this group now?
@Reefing102 @Troylee @Jasonak @Mschmidt
Asking because these fellas are on the latest contest graphics.

Anyhoo... here's my April entry.
No branch growth but it's encrusting. This is the first full month in it's permanent (hopefully) spot.

The organizers for the new contest aren’t on this one. You can tag them, but they don’t have the spreadsheets

I have a few corals growing that way also. Makes me wonder if im giving them to much light
Originally I had a pendant style light over this and I though it was growing towards the light, maybe it was, but I have a new, more diffuse light and it still wants to grow that way haha it's neighbors seem happy but oh well
