Me either. I usually just stack rock. This time I want to make specific structures for each type of fish. Plus some visually interesting things. I have been collecting rock and coral skeletons for a while. Just shapes that are interesting. I have tried a couple of glues and I'm not happy with them. Especially for the arch. I also have a few pieces of tonga that I want to scape with.

Sounds bomb.
I have always just thrown everything in there stacking as it's falling over and over and over.
That gsp has now glued a lot of it together thankfully.
I've never used glue either so I'm really curious.

I am undecided about a tang for ours. I fell in love with the scopas another reefer has. I'm afraid to get anything dark colored because of Angus (damsel). We'll probably end up with yellow too. I definitely want a chill tang. Fingers crossed.

I've had 4 or 5 different ones over the years.
Scopus I had years ago was a gorgeous fish and pretty chill.
This yellow is by far the best as far as temperament. I mean he'll defend but not attack.
Like I said that coral beauty is a jerk and I can't believe everyone is afraid of him lol.

Beautiful fish.
you can’t beat that yellow color.

When I was in Hawaii last summer I saw hundreds of yellow tangs and I just knew I had to get one.

All of my friends locally have had jerk coral beauties. Maybe if added last very very juvenile?

I think that would be fine. They do sell them very small and I think you'd be OK.
They are beautiful fish and hardy as you know what, weird eaters and very outgoing.
I love all of those attributes.
If you put him in the new big tank last he'll love that.
Mine uses every inch of that 75.
Every inch.

I wouldn't expect aggression with Angus if it was added very small. Angus has been a baby thus far, but he was not the alpha in the tank. A large female watchman was the boss. She finally passed at 8.

Good morning y'all. It's snowing again here and the mail hasn't delivered in days. I was really hoping to play with rock, but the epoxy stick I ordered isn't here. I also want a 30"x30" piece of foam as a template for the tank so I can get a real 3D mock up.

I have some extra if you want to drive up to Ohio. Comes with a free birdsnest frag!

I wouldn't expect aggression with Angus if it was added very small. Angus has been a baby thus far, but he was not the alpha in the tank. A large female watchman was the boss. She finally passed at 8.

I've had good luck with damsels and angels, not as much with clowns and angels.
Plus if you name him Malcom, you'll have half of AC/DC in there!

My, lighting won’t allow the more difficult and expensive ones. But my birdsnest and monti cap grow crazy and, although I’ve given a lot away, Im running out of people to take them and the owner of lfs gets a funny look on her face when I walk in with a bag in my hand. I brought her some before Black Friday and she said she still had some from last time. I said she should just throw them in with each coral sale as a free frag on Black Friday.

Depressing , but on the bright side, only 3 more months of it! Drove over an hour to work, this is the view in front of my office. I think I’m going to make my first snow angel of 2024, in the parking lot today.
