thanks kevin! i dont know what to think. heres some numbers sal.-1.026, nitrate 33.9, phos. .30, alk. 8.6. it just seems like the fleshbands are shrinking. i keep changing the media in the reactor to try and get my phos down more but doesnt seem to be doing much. just thought if i put them low maybe they would turn around

used up all my gfo so switched to phosguard. i just put in the amount the container said. 1/3 cup per 50 gallons i think. this is the third batch of it now. it brings it down a little then its right back up.

Yes phosgaurd gets used up super fast.
Really a waste of money IMHO.
Try a high capacity gfo.
It'll take out 4x more.
I used ME CORAL and premium aquatics generic brands, both kick butt.
In the end I switched to rowaphos.
No reason. It just works.

She's selling it as a 125 but it measures 72x18x28 which is a 150.
I just won't tell anyone ;)

I know nothing about euphyllia but yes, your phos is high.
I'd try and bring it at least to. 2 range.
Make sure the gfo is at a gentle tumble always.

Good morning jill, high phosphate ( not sure what level that is) can inhibit growth but probably not causing what is going on in your tank. I would recommend bringing it down some with simply decreasing input and increasing export. Skimmer 24/7, decreases feeding ( especially if you are using Reef Roids), increase amount and frequency of water changes. For comparison my tank has been running nitrates of 25 and phosphates of .25 for as long as I can remember. First make sure they are medium flow and light. Second I didn’t get the information I really wanted, what is your calcium and magnesium. Both of those being low could cause what you are seeing. Also please post a picture of your tank. We’ll figure this out.

Hi Smitten with ocean life, I did equivalent 70% water change on the last 2 weeks. I reduce nitrate from 68 to 26 and I still can't read phosphate on Hannah (so above 0.6) it is like this since nearly a year. Pics of my LPS and elegance the light is going down at it is 6pm so less fluffy.
